What you'll do

Operate powered picking equipment to select items and build pallets for safe transportation within the distribution center.

Overview Day Shift Utility Picking all areas (Utility) - 6:00a-4:30pm Days Off:Monday, Saturday, Sunday Primary Duties: Primarily in 711. Operate powered picking equipment, which may include elevated equipment. Select items and cases of varying weights, sizes and shapes from picking locations. Build pallets of divers packaged products for safe transportation. From time to time, may be called upon to perform other duties in other areas of the warehouse. Selection: Job performance, experience, ability and length of service are some of the primary factors considered in awarding open positions. All things being equal, an employee applying for the open position who has greater length of service than another employee applying for the open position, will be placed in the position. Responsibilities Job Requirements: An excellent record for safety, attendance and performance. Completion of three month probationary period. Proven ability to operate power equipment. Ability to interact with co-workers when necessary to resolve situations with tact, civil conduct and compromise. A high degree of motivation and the ability to work without direct supervision. Comprehensive knowledge of all Bi-Mart distribution procedures and processes. Ability to respond to operational requirements in a timely and efficient manner. Ability to recognize and select correct product in correct quantities working from detailed picking documents. Ability to build pallet loads from products of differing sizes, weights and shapes without damaging product. Manual dexterity necessary to work with small items in picking, packing, repacking and shipping. Strength sufficient to lift up to 75lb. without assistance, regularly, and heavier products occasionally. Ability to work on elevated equipment at heights up to 18 feet. Qualifications Hours: 6:00a-4:30pm Tuesday-Friday Shift hours & days off are subject to change to satisfy the needs of the company. Pay Range USD $18.15 - USD $26.35 /Yr.
