Facilities Engineer

Facilities Engineer 2 Job Description: Provide facilities project management with a focus on ensuring the operational reliability of building equipment and environment controls necessary to support quality and uninterrupted services to operations. Plan, organize and control capital and leasehold decisions through the implementation of key performance indicators and data analysis to ensure deliverables meet objectives. Responsibilities: Lead cross functional teams to develop project scopes that include technical requirements, trade budgets, and construction schedulingManage capital project financials and construction to manage projects on time and within budgetDevelopment and maintain capital leasehold and operating budget(s) within established guidelines for assigned projectsManage facility staff and plan maintenance activities in the absence of the Facility ManagerManage data collection and analysis of facility and operations equipment utilized to modify maintenance plans and new equipment needs geared towards achieving 100% reliabilityDevelop and implement cost-effective maintenance strategies and programs to assure business continuity i.e., predictive maintenance program, preventive maintenance, compliance, maintenance, and service deliveryDevelop balance scorecard and key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring performance to assure continuous improvementSupport companies risk mitigation programs as outlined by company’s risk insurerProvide support to facility operations as needed to support the company for business relocation, acquisitions, and other special projectsEnsure environmental, health and safety guidelines are integrated into the facility workforce and followedAssist facilities management in various administrative roles, including but not limited to: Manage cost effective equipment and facility services contracts, establish written policies and procedures, and manage personnel space planning
