Quality Systems and FA Intern Job Summary: • Support the quality engineering team in conducting failure investigations and implementing corrective actions for customer-related issues, while documenting and maintaining analysis data, and facilitating interactions regarding customer quality and reliability through comprehensive analysis FA (8D) reports. • Aid in planning and processing customer returns, as well as scheduling and executing the analysis from beginning to end. • Collaborate with the quality engineer, circuit design, process, and product/test engineers across the business unit to perform DC electrical testing, circuit analysis/troubleshooting, fault isolation, and micro-probing, among other tasks as needed. Create and document detailed step-by-step tests required for each product family. • Partner with the quality engineer and Application team to test customer returns based on bench analysis. • Assist the quality engineer in recognizing and initiating actions that will lead to the continuous enhancement of the Quality System, products, and processes. Education/Experience: • College student working toward a B.S or M.S. in EE, Computer Science, or a related field. Specific Requirements: • Understanding of semiconductor fabrication, inspection, assembly, and test methods. Knowledge of semiconductor processing and analysis equipment is a plus. • Excellent analytical skills and good written and verbal communications skills are essential. • Self-motivated, hard-working, fast learner and well-organized • Highly responsible, a good team player with good presentation skills • Proficiency with common office computer software programs such as MS-Office. • Due to ITAR regulations, only candidates who are U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, or individuals granted asylum or refugee status) will be considered for this position. During the 12 weeks each Intern will: • Be given an individual and well-defined project with set outcome goals • Gain hands on experience • Receive excellent training and ongoing supervision • Be invited to attend an intern webinar series • Attend networking/social events • Attend and present at Poster Session about each Interns project successes and pitfalls • Receive formal, written feedback The Hourly Range for this position is $20 – $47 per hour. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
