What you'll do
- Complete all aspects of the installation

- Complete status (service) reports, expense reports, and technical documentation
- Maintain excellent customer relations and follow through on customer issues

- Provide feedback to the manager on machine and customer issues
- Take continuing education on new machines and technologies

- Technical and working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics
- Ability to use hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter, and Oscilloscope
- Working knowledge of computers and Windows OS
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent relational skills
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience (preferred)
- Routine travel, with overnight and weekend stays as needed

To support customers with (but not limited to). Automatic Loading and Unloading Machines. This includes installation and service. Provides field service to ensure customer satisfaction. Take continuing education on new machines and technologies. Not exclusive to the same functions as other Amada machines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Complete all aspects of the installation:
Follow up on any aspects outside of the normal scope of work with the proper departments to obtain customer satisfaction.
Complete status (service) reports, expense reports every week, and technical documentation as needed.
Maintain excellent customer relations and follow through on customer issues.
Maintain excellent coworker and manager relations.
Complete other required internal paperwork (Urgent Parts Requests, Parts Removal Requests, Purchase Requisitions, etc.)
Regular travel.
Provide feedback to the manager on any machine and customer issues that require further action.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Demonstrate a commitment to an Injury-Free Environment by complying with all aspects of the corporate environmental, health, and safety program.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP :
Area and Regional Service Managers
SUBORDINATE STAFF :
None
KNOWLEDGE :
This position requires technical and working knowledge of:
Mechanical systems
Electrical systems
Hydraulics
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience, in a related discipline.
SKILLS :
Ability to use hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter, and Oscilloscope.
Working knowledge of computers and Windows OS.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Excellent relational skills (with customers, coworkers (senior and junior), and management).
TRAVEL :
Routine travel, with overnight and weekend stays as needed.
