Finance Development Analyst Program (FDAP) - New Grad

Job Summary: The Finance Analyst Development Program (FDAP) at Synovus is a two-year rotational experience designed to develop future leaders in finance. Participants will support key areas of the enterprise-Strategic Finance, Treasury, and Corporate Development-by performing financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Analysts will assist in producing financial statements, evaluating performance trends, and preparing strategic insights that influence decision-making across the organization. This hybrid program offers mentorship, professional development, and exposure to high-impact projects that shape the financial direction of the company.   Job Duties And Responsibilities: • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support short- and long-term strategic decisions. • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. • Generate forecasts and analyze trends in revenue, expenses, and other financial metrics. • Research and analyze financial indicators such as rates of return, depreciation, and investment performance. • Prepare and maintain organizational, business unit, and departmental budgets. • Support balance sheet and income forecasting across various finance functions. • Collaborate with Treasury to analyze capital adequacy, liquidity, and interest rate risk. • Assist Corporate Development in evaluating mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. • Contribute to Investor Relations presentations and strategic communications. • Participate in two 12-month hybrid rotations across Strategic Finance, Treasury, and Corporate Development. • Engage with employee resource groups and community outreach initiatives.                              * Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area.
