OVERVIEW: The Finance Development Program is a rotational experience designed for recent graduates who want to develop their analytical, business, and leadership capabilities while exploring multiple areas of Finance. The FDP is a 2-year rotational program in which participants complete 6-month rotations on four different teams across crucial areas of the business. This program, based out of Pittsburgh, PA, will expose you to a broad range of business activities while working through Finance. Rotation experiences may include: Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Business Support Store Operations FP&A Merchandising FP&A Real Estate Market Research Investor Relations The program is designed to prepare you for a long-term career within Finance. By experiencing multiple Finance teams, you'll develop a broader understanding of the business and discover where your strengths and interests can have the greatest impact. Upon successful completion, participants transition into full-time roles based on business needs, demonstrated strengths and performance, and individual career interests. *Relocation assistance will be provided for non-local candidates who accept full-time jobs requiring them to be located at DICK’S Sporting Goods Corporate Office. Key program experiences: Build breadth, understand how different areas of Finance connect, develop a company-wide network, learn from several managers, and make a more informed decision about where to build a career. Orientation to introduce you to the company, Pittsburgh, the program, and your teammates Functional and leadership skills development by working alongside experts within each function Real-life, hands-on practical application within the specialized disciplines – contributing to real business priorities Coaching, mentorship, cohort connection, feedback, and intentional development weaved through the program experience Exposure to cross-functional areas of the organization Interaction with teammates across all levels of the company, including Senior Executives Structured learning experiences to deepen business knowledge, grow leadership capabilities, and foster meaningful relationships across disciplines Regular performance assessment and feedback to track personal development and growth Skills we are looking for: A competitive spirit with a passion for results An interest and confidence in working with data and numbers; strong mathematical/quantitative skills highly preferred Demonstrated leadership potential and an ability to use data to develop thoughtful recommendations A curiosity and desire to learn about consumer and retail trends, including customer demographics, purchasing influencers, and emerging technology  Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate insights to different audiences Professional flexibility and a desire to explore a wide variety of functions Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field Less than 1 year experience required An ability to relocate to Pittsburgh, PA Program Start Date: August 23, 2027 Overview of DICK’S Sporting Goods: Today, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is a leading omni-channel sporting goods retailer offering an extensive assortment of authentic, high-quality sports equipment, apparel, footwear and accessories.
