Responsibilities Job Summary: The Finance Data Analyst Intern will support the Finance team by analyzing financial and operational data, developing reports and dashboards, and assisting with business performance analysis. The intern will collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to help drive data-based decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with collecting, organizing, validating, and analyzing financial and operational data from multiple sources. Support the preparation of financial reports, dashboards, forecasts, and performance metrics. Analyze trends, variances, and key business drivers to support decision-making. Create and maintain reports, data visualizations, and presentations for management review. Support the development and improvement of data reporting processes and tools. Work with large datasets to identify patterns, opportunities, and areas for operational improvement. Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and other business functions on data-driven projects. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting systems. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Basic understanding of financial analysis, business analytics, and data management principles. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or similar is preferred. Basic knowledge of databases, SQL, or other data analysis tools is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information appropriately. Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this position, the employee will primarily work in a controlled office environment. Responsibilities require the use of standard office equipment, including personal computers, telephones, printers, and copiers. The employee will regularly communicate with internal and external stakeholders through face-to-face interactions, electronic communications, telephone conversations, and written correspondence. Work Hours: Work schedule will be established based on business needs and the intern's academic schedule and availability.
