The Hiller Companies, LLC has an immediate opening for Fire Sprinkler Apprentice.  If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for fire protection and safety, we invite you to apply today.   The Hiller Companies is a leading provider of fire protection and safety solutions, dedicated to safeguarding lives and property all around the world.  Headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, Hiller extends its reach globally as well as in domestic markets with offices across the United States.  With over 100 years in the industry, our mission is to ensure the highest standard of safety and innovation in comprehensive fire protection services, including installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of critical fire and life safety equipment.  Our team remains laser-focused on one goal - making the world a safer place.     Job Summary: Fire sprinkler apprentices assist senior technicians in the installation and service of fire sprinkler systems, while receiving on the job training.       Key Responsibilities: * Assist in the installation of fire sprinkler systems: * Handle tools and equipment under supervision. * Measure, cut, and thread pipes according to specifications. * Assist in the assembly and installation of pipes, valves, and fittings. * Support the mounting and positioning of sprinkler heads. * Collaborate with installation team: * Work closely with senior technicians to ensure efficient installation processes. * Follow instructions and guidelines provided by the team. * Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks. * Conduct pre-installation preparations: * Assist in reviewing blueprints and system designs. * Prepare the work area by clearing obstacles and ensuring accessibility. * Help gather necessary tools, materials, and equipment for the installation. * Follow safety guidelines and regulations: * Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). * Comply with industry standards and local fire codes during installations. * Report any safety concerns or incidents to senior technicians. * Learn and develop technical skills: * Actively engage in training sessions and workshops related to fire sprinkler installation. * Familiarize yourself with different types of fire sprinkler systems and their components. * Seek guidance from senior team members to enhance your knowledge and skills. * Other duties as assigned.
