First Article Inspector

Position Summary: The First Article Inspector responsibilities are to create and review First article paperwork in accordance with customer and AS9102 specifications and determine acceptance of product based upon completed results. Read, write and speak English fluently Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form Knowledge of SolidWorks software specific to First Article Inspection GD&T knowledge/experience Knowledge of AS9102 standards Read and interpret documents such as blueprints, specifications, safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals Computer skills in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills Work well in a team environment; maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn Education and/or Experience: Required: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience Preferred: Six months to one year experience with data entry in a manufacturing industry Preferred: SolidWorks software experience, specific to First Article Inspection Physical Demands Include: Sitting, standing, and walking Use of fingers, hands and arms to operate office equipment Being able to see (20/25 vision with glasses, 20/25 without) and hear (with mechanical assistance if necessary) sufficient to understand and comprehend individual one-on-one conversations Work Environment: This person will work in a temperature controlled environment with moderate noise. There will be outside time spent in the manufacturing environment. This setting involves manufacturing equipment with others working in close proximity.
