Job Summary: The FP&A Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, developing forecasts and budgets, and providing insightful reports to management. Working with the Sr. FP&A Analyst, this role supports the financial planning process, monitors performance against targets, and identifies opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial principles, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively. ** NOTE: This is not a remote position. Participate in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes. Analyze historical financial data to identify trends and variances. Collaborate with department heads to gather input for forecasts and budgets. Financial Reporting and Analysis Prepare and distribute regular financial reports, including variance analysis and performance dashboards. Analyze actual financial results against budget and forecast, and provide explanations for variances. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reports to track performance. Create ad-hoc financial analyses to support business decisions. Business Partnering Partner with various departments to provide financial guidance and support. Assist in the development of business cases for new initiatives and investments. Provide financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making. Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting. Assist in the implementation of new financial systems and tools. Document and maintain financial policies and procedures. Data Management Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Utilize financial systems and tools to extract and analyze data. Develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets for financial analysis. Other Duties Perform other duties as assigned by management. FP&A Analyst Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required. 0–2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, or a related field preferred. Relevant internships and academic experience will be considered. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. Foundational understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to organize, interpret, and present financial data accurately and effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information clearly. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Familiarity with financial modeling, reporting tools, or business intelligence platforms is a plus.
