Job Title: FP&A Analyst Location: On-site (not remote) office in The Woodlands, Texas Reports To: Director of Finance Travel: minimal / none Position Summary: The FP&A Analyst will partner closely with the Director of Ops Finance, CFO, and business leaders to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making across the organization. This role provides significant visibility to senior leadership, direct exposure to board and private equity reporting, and the opportunity to help drive operational and financial performance in a growing, PE-backed company. The ideal candidate combines strong financial modeling and analytical skills with a proactive, business-minded approach. This individual will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, board reporting, performance analysis, and finance process improvement, while helping modernize the finance function through automation, business intelligence tools, and emerging AI technologies. Key Responsibilities: Financial Modeling Build and maintain the company's integrated three-statement model (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), linking operating drivers to cash and debt. Model scenarios and sensitivities for leadership and the sponsor, including pricing, volume, headcount, capex and working capital. Track debt covenants, leverage and liquidity, and support lender reporting. Support M&A and value-creation work: acquisition models, synergy tracking and integration of acquired businesses into the plan. Board and Sponsor Reporting Prepare monthly and quarterly board decks and PE sponsor reporting packages. Turn results into a clear story: KPIs, variance to budget and prior year, EBITDA bridges and cash flow. Respond quickly to ad hoc requests from the board, sponsor and lenders. Budgeting and Forecasting Own the monthly forecast process and lead parts of the annual budget and long-range plan. Partner with business unit leaders to build driver-based forecasts and explain variances. Analyze performance by business unit, customer and product to find margin and cash improvement opportunities. Technology, Automation and AI Automate recurring reporting and reduce manual spreadsheet work. Build and improve dashboards in BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) for self-serve reporting. Use AI tools (e.g. LLM assistants, Copilot) to speed up analysis, commentary drafting and data preparation, with appropriate review controls. Help evaluate and implement FP&A systems (e.g. Adaptive, Anaplan, Pigment) and support ERP and data integration projects. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field. 2–3 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory or corporate finance. Demonstrated ability to build an integrated three-statement model from scratch. Advanced Excel: lookups, dynamic arrays, scenario toggles, clean and auditable model structure. Strong PowerPoint skills and experience producing executive or board-level materials. Solid understanding of GAAP financial statements and how operating drivers flow to cash. Hands-on use of automation or AI tools in your current work, and curiosity about doing more. Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting numbers to senior leaders. Able to manage several deadlines at once in a fast-moving, sponsor-driven environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a PE-backed or sponsor-owned company, or on the deal side. CPA, CFA (or progress toward) or an MBA. Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and FP&A platforms (Adaptive, Anaplan, Pigment or similar). Working knowledge of SQL, Python or Power Query for data work. Exposure to ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and to system migration or consolidation projects. Experience with acquisition integration or multi-entity consolidation. Why Join Visibility: your work goes directly to the CFO, the board and our PE partners. Ownership: you will own the model and core reporting, not just update someone else's file. Growth: a sponsor-backed growth plan means exposure to M&A, value creation and capital structure decisions early in your career. Build the future of finance: a mandate to automate and apply AI, with leadership support to try new tools. Compensation: competitive base salary based on experience and qualification.
