Axos Bank Target Range: $28.00/Hr. - $33.00/Hr. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education. About This Job The Funding Specialist supports the day-to-day servicing of the company's equipment lease and loan portfolio, with primary responsibility for the operational tasks performed within the Servicing Operations (Ops) function. This role processes the daily funding of transactions. The Funding Analyst works closely with internal accounting and treasury partners, vendors, dealers to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments. This position requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment in researching and resolving variances, and the ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines with a high degree of accuracy. This position reports to the Servicing Manager. Responsibilities: Process equipment funding payables and prepare payments for review Prepare daily/monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts Assist with cash management activities, including bank reconciliations Assist with periodic reporting to funding sources, including but not limited to, portfolio concentration, ineligibles, delinquency, write-offs, recoveries, residual realization, and borrowing base reporting Assist in audit and tax preparation Assist in annual report activities, including the preparation and timely submission of filings, as needed Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations Qualifications: Bachelor/Associate degree or relevant years of practical work experience in finance or accounting Proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong written and verbal communication and listening skills High attention to detail and accuracy, meets deadlines Adherence to policies and procedures Proficient in Excel required, accounting and accounting systems preferred Axos Employee Benefits May Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Paid Sick Leave, 3 weeks’ Vacation, and Holidays (about 11 a year) HSA or FSA account and other voluntary benefits 401(k) Retirement Saving Plan with Employer Match Program and 529 Savings Plan Employee Mortgage Loan Program and free access to an Axos Bank Account with Self-Directed Trading About Axos Born digital-first, Axos delivers financial tools and services that allow individuals, small businesses, and companies to access and manage their money how, when, and where they want.
