While working with a Licensed Engineer, together you will provide engineering solutions and recommendations as well as support our clients in their development initiatives. This role includes performing technical geotechnical analyses, writing reports, and fieldwork.nnField Operations Coordination: Coordinating field exploration and drilling operations.nSoil Sample Collection and Logging: Collecting and logging soil samples from the field.nSolar Pile Load Testing: Working with a field team performing foundation load testing for solar energy facilities.nSoil Testing and Analysis: Testing, analyzing, evaluating, and performing calculations to evaluate the behavior of the subsurface conditions relative to development.nReport Preparation: Preparing written reports with findings and geotechnical opinions, conclusions, and recommendations.nnnMinimum Qualifications:nnBachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Mining, or a related engineering fieldnMinimum of 2 years of professional experiencenEngineer in Training (EIT) licensenExcellent computer skills including at a minimum, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCADnnnWorking Conditions and Physical Demands:nYou are willing and able to perform the physical demands of this position with the use of Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment:nnWorking outdoors in varying weather conditions outside normal business hours, as needednWalking over rough and uneven terrain, maneuvering field equipment safely, such as a loaded wheelbarrownRoutinely lifting and carrying 40-50lbs, (field/laboratory samples and equipment) nTraveling out-of-town and possibly overnight for assignments as neededn
