Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA)

Location: Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living Join our team as Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA). Our GNAs support our residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet all of our resident’s needs. Education assistance, certification reimbursement and access to over 6,000 courses through our online learning library, designed to enhance your current skills and build new ones How you will make an impact: Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs Assisting residents in activities of daily living Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging Providing assistance with resident activities and resident programs Working with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter What you will need: Current CNA I (GNA) certification for the State of Maryland Minimum of 1 year of CNA/GNA experience preferred Current CPR certification is preferred Must be at least 18 years of age Basic computer skills required Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
