About the company
Clipboard Health
Computer software · 501 to 1,000 employees
Our mission is to uplift as many communities as possible. We do this through our app-based marketplace that connects healthcare professionals with the workplaces that need amazing workers. This enables hundreds of thousands of people to achieve financial stability for themselves and their families while providing essential care to millions of people across the U.S. Founded in 2016, we are a remote-first team of over 1,000 people building a top Y-Combinator company https://www.ycombinator.com/topcompanies/ and have been profitable since 2022. We’re the leader in Long-Term Care staffing and are rapidly expanding into Home Health, Hospitals, and more, meaning we have more work to do than people to do it, and are growing our team to support millions more people and their communities.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end logistics for our conference program, from registration and booth setup to travel, shipping and event materials.
- Serve as the central point of coordination between conference organizers, the sales team and internal partners.
- Make sure reps walk into every event prepared, with clear agendas, briefings and insight on who will be there.
- Partner with Sales Ops to manage attendee data and keep event activity accurately captured in our systems.
- Track event outcomes and costs, and turn learnings into a repeatable playbook that scales as the program grows.
- What we're looking for
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail – you juggle a dozen conferences at different stages and nothing slips.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – we write a LOT here at Clipboard, and this role is constantly coordinating with organizers, vendors and reps.
- Comfort with systems and data. Experience with Salesforce, spreadsheets or similar tools is a plus, and you're excited to use AI tools to automate the repetitive parts of the job.
- A proactive and collaborative team player who is eager to learn and take on new challenges.
- A passion for our mission to lift people up the socioeconomic ladder.
- Speed and bias for action. We move quickly, which means that flexibility and adaptability are key to succeeding here.
- Willingness and ownership – if there is something that needs to get done, you do it instead of waiting for someone else to do it.
- Prior experience in event operations, sales operations, project coordination or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
- Have 1-3+ years of professional experience in operations, event planning, sales ops or a similar coordination-heavy role. A history in the software and healthcare industries is a plus, but not required.
- Are the person friends and coworkers hand the trip planning to, and you actually enjoy it.
- Like building processes and SOPs, and get annoyed when the same thing is done three different ways.
- Are comfortable traveling occasionally to support conferences on the ground.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment and adapt quickly when the playbook changes.
- Are naturally curious, a creative problem-solver, and see challenges as opportunities.
- Communicate clearly, follow through on commitments, and take full ownership of your work.
- You'll Love This Role If You:
- Want to grow your career in operations, marketing or sales strategy, and are eager to see the direct impact of your work on pipeline and revenue.
- Are excited by autonomy – you'll own the operational side of our conference program and be trusted to make every event run smoothly.
