Heavy Diesel Technician/Mechanic - Swing Shift

Base pay ranges from $33.00 per hour to $42.00 per hour, plus an additional $3.00 an hour swing shift differential. We currently have an opening for a Mechanic in Anchorage, Alaska. What You Will Be Doing Provide maintenance on heavy-duty equipment, ie: tractors, trailers, forklifts, etc. Assist with major component swaps like hydraulic pumps, engines and transmissions. Must be able to apply and be issued a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card). Perform inspections in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, vibration, toxic or caustic chemicals, wet, and/or humid conditions and occasionally works in high, precarious places.
