Drywall Installer Responsibilities Respond promptly to emergency calls for drywall installation, repair, and finishing following water, fire, mold, or other disaster events. Assess the extent of drywall damage and determine the appropriate repair strategy. Remove and dispose of damaged drywall materials safely and efficiently. Install new drywall panels according to building codes and industry standards. Apply joint compound, tape seams, and sand surfaces to achieve a smooth and level finish. Collaborate effectively with other team members, including project managers, and field techs. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Uphold the company's high standards for safety and customer service. Requirements for Drywall Installer Must be available for emergency response work after-hours and on weekends (1 week & weekend per month rotation). Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Drywall Installer or Finisher. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred - English is a must! Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service. Ability to work well under pressure Strong multi-tasking skills Strong understanding of drywall installation, repair, and finishing techniques. Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to drywall work. Comfortable utilizing software & applications to access docs, reports, & timekeeping system Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
