POSITION SUMMARY:
The Histotechnologist Trainee is responsible for performing all histology duties of the department, except those for which high complexity qualifications are required (Histotech II) as well as performing the duties of the Histology Lab Assistant when needed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent, required
At the end of the training period (minimum of
one year
) advancement opportunities to a Histotech I position may be considered.
Advancement opportunities are contingent upon proven work quality, job knowledge, and management approval.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 4:00PM
