What YOU will do: Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and tune-ups on residential HVAC equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system performance issues, identifying potential problems before they become major repairs. Clean, inspect, and replace filters, belts, coils, motors, and other system components as needed. Test and verify proper operation of heating, cooling, ventilation, and indoor air quality systems. Maintain accurate service records, maintenance reports, and customer documentation. Educate homeowners on system operation, maintenance recommendations, and energy-saving best practices. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable safety regulations. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, testing instruments, and maintenance equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment at customer locations. Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors to deliver exceptional service. Assist with equipment installations, parts replacement, and repair projects when needed. Lift, carry, and move equipment and materials up to 50 pounds while working in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments. Who YOU Are: High school diploma or GED required. Previous HVAC maintenance, service, trade school training, or related experience preferred but not required. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn HVAC systems, tools, and industry best practices. Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, climbing ladders, bending, and working in confined spaces. Strong communication skills and a professional appearance and demeanor. EPA Certification and HVAC certifications are a plus but not required.
