What You’ll Get Get rewarded for your skills: competitive experience-based pay PLUS an extra $1/hour for night shift Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available for qualified candidates Medical, dental, vision and life insurance; 401(k) with company match Paid holidays, paid vacation and overtime opportunities Hands-on development and opportunities to advance through maintenance levels What You’ll Do Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair production and packaging equipment, including motors, pumps and conveyors Work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to improve reliability and minimize downtime Support upgrades, record work in maintenance systems and follow lockout/tagout safety procedures Collaborate with production and experienced maintenance technicians What We’re Looking For Level I: Mechanical aptitude, basic electrical/mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn; approximately 0–2 years of experience preferred Level II: Independently troubleshoot equipment; read electrical schematics; work with PLC-controlled systems and variable frequency drives (VFDs); approximately 3–5 years preferred For both levels: Dependability, safety focus, teamwork and problem-solving ability High school diploma or GED required; technical education or apprenticeship preferred Why GLK Sauerkraut?
