What you'll do
- Travel to USAR sites to perform Site Assistance Visits (SAV).
What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology related field or two years of applicable experience.
- Ability to develop, create and deliver briefings to management personnel.
- Experience with MS Office Suite (MS Project, Word, OneNote, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
- Basic understanding of information assurance, cybersecurity principles, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with federal cybersecurity or compliance frameworks, such as NIST, RMF, or similar standards, is a plus.
- Active Sec+ certification required
- Willingness and ability to travel to USAR sites to perform Site Assistance Visits (SAV) (10%-25% Travel)
- Must have an active US Secret security clearance to start
- Experience using A&A/RMF workflow tools such as eMASS and XACTA
- Understanding of DR, COOP, IRP and BCP processes and testing
- Understanding of RMF documentation
- Understanding of Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM)
- Understanding of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
- Experience organizing and conducting Site Assistance Visits or similar travel experience of performing assessments (collecting information), returning and completing trip related reporting.
- Familiarity with privacy overlays and PPSM
- Familiarity with drafting military correspondence and orders
- Effective oral and written communications is key for this position.
