Intern, Engineering

At Clark Pacific, the Engineering Intern supports the design, fabrication, and installation of architectural and structural building systems. Working as part of an integrated project team within a specific business unit, this role provides hands-on exposure to engineering, project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration across design, manufacturing, and field operations. This internship is ideal for a positive, curious, and motivated individual eager to learn and grow within the construction and engineering industry.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions. * Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions. * Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with staff, projects, and proprietary information. * Learn and assist with design-phase activities, including submittal drawings, design approvals, reinforcement drawings, and miscellaneous metal drawings. * Learn and assist with manufacturing and production-phase activities, including shop drawings, material coordination, casting schedules, and quality checks. * Learn and assist with field and erection-phase activities, including crane studies, rigging diagrams, shipping coordination, and field manpower planning while supporting quality, schedule, and budget objectives. * Learn and assist with general project management tasks, including issue identification and resolution, procedure submittals, escalation of issues when appropriate, and monitoring of contract specifications, budgets, and schedules. * Other duties as assigned.   Qualifications: * Strong interest in engineering and construction management preferred. * Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field in progress or completed is preferred. * Strong desire to learn, collaborate, and contribute in a team-based environment.   Skills and Abilities: * High level of curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams. * Strong attention to detail while managing multiple tasks and deadlines. * Solid organizational and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.   Core Values: * Determination: Meet challenges head on * Innovation: Always look for better * Well-Being: Seek the success, health, and happiness of all   Interested?
