JOB SUMMARY:
Spend your summer at the center of how Molina builds and supports its provider network. This 10-week, paid internship pairs you with Provider Relations professionals at work that reaches real providers and members — provider outreach and education, network performance analytics, and process improvement. You will own a project from question to recommendation, present your findings to leaders, and leave with healthcare industry insight, a professional network, and experience you can point to on day one of your career.

Support network adequacy, access and performance reporting, including provider data validation and Excel/Power BI dashboards. Turn analysis into clear, concise recommendations for non-technical audiences. Projects may include: a provider directory accuracy audit, a network adequacy dashboard refresh, a provider onboarding/education toolkit, or a JOC reporting package refresh.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Curious, self-motivated and comfortable asking questions in a fast-moving team. Clear, professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and good time management across multiple priorities. Comfort with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and internet research; interest in data and analytics a plus. Strong critical thinking and problem solving, and the judgment to handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA.
