About the company

Silkline

Computer software · 2 to 10 employees

American manufacturing is being rebuilt: rockets, satellites, reactors, robots. Every one of those products depends on thousands of parts from hundreds of suppliers, and most of that supply chain still runs on spreadsheets and email. Silkline is building the operating system for procurement in advanced manufacturing. We help companies like Machina Labs, H3X, and Astranis go from first prototype to full-rate production without losing track of a single part. We’re a small, venture-backed team that grew our customer base 5x last year. As an intern here, you won’t get a sandbox project. You’ll ship code that real factories use.

Overview American manufacturing is being rebuilt: rockets, satellites, reactors, robots. The Founding Team Isaac Chambers is a 3x founder and started his career at Deloitte Consulting, focusing on supply chain & manufacturing operations for the aerospace & defense sector. Brent Shulman is a full-stack engineering leader and previously worked as an engineer at Palantir and Pave. At Pave (where he joined as the 10th engineer), he founded, grew, and led the data integration team, scaling from 10 to thousands of customer connections. What you’ll do Ship product end to end. Take features from spec to production across our TypeScript, React, Next.js, and GraphQL stack. Build integrations. Connect Silkline to ERPs, supplier systems, and partner APIs. This is the messy data work that makes a supply chain visible. Work with customers. Talk directly with the buyers, engineers, and supply chain leads who use what you build, and change it based on what you learn. Prototype fast. Build something scrappy, prove it creates value, then help make it solid. Work in a secure environment. Our platform runs in AWS GovCloud for ITAR compliance, so you’ll learn how software gets built for defense and space customers. What we’re looking for A builder’s instinct. You have side projects, hackathon wins, or shipped work you’re proud of. Comfort with ambiguity. You can make decisions on your own and know when to ask. Clear communication. You can talk with both engineers and non-technical users. A strong coder. You’re proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar, and you can pick up new tools quickly. Eligibility. You’re pursuing a degree in CS, Math, Engineering, Physics, or a related field, graduating [Dec 2027 / Spring 2028] . You must be a U.S. Person (ITAR).
