Hourly Pay Range: $18-22 WHAT THE LJA INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE HAS TO OFFER Our Summer Internship Program runs from mid-May through the first week of August and is a fully in-person experience, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. As an LJA intern, you'll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals and contributing to real-world projects. This role provides hands-on exposure to real projects while offering insight into the day-to-day operations of professional surveyors. Interns will contribute to meaningful work while developing technical, organizational, and professional skills. A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE: * Assisting with assigned tasks under the direction of experienced surveyors. * Shadowing field and office operations to learn surveying practices and workflows. * Completing project-based assignments that support larger initiatives while gaining exposure to daily surveying activities. REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: * Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Technical degree in Surveying or a related field. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Highly motivated student with strong academic performance. * Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. * Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies. * Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
