Team Overview The Field Application Engineering (FAE) team provides technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. This is an opportunity to deepen product, application, and market knowledge in the Cloud and AI networking infrastructure. Team will assist the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and help review product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions. Responsibilities · Support FAE team with application lab expansion and network testing. · Work closely with FAE and sales team to review customer requirements and application use cases. · Work with firmware development team to help identify bugs. · Participation in Failure Analysis, Corrective Action & Lessons Learned activities Minimum Qualifications · Currently enrolled in a degree program related to physical sciences or electrical engineering. · Foundational knowledge of the subject matter relevant to the role. · Demonstrated ability to analyze information, communicate effectively, and complete work collaboratively. · Available for the full internship period. Desired Qualifications · Practical working knowledge of transceiver hardware, or network switching and connectivity including both specification and testing of firmware/hardware interfaces. o Device firmware structure & functionality o Standards documents like CMIS, Ethernet, InfiniBand, Industry MSAs o Python Pay Range: $23.75 - 54.30/hour USD Disclaimer: All offers of employment are subject to background checks, appropriate work authorizations, and depending on country, drug screens may be required prior to start date.
