Our investment analysts operate in a flat and lean structure relative to the size of the assets we manage with high levels of interaction across the investment team, Portfolio Managers, and with our Chairman/CIO and co-Founder, Rajiv Jain. GQG is a vibrant learning environment where questions and dissenting opinions are welcome. Our team consists of investment professionals from a variety of backgrounds including journalism, hedge funds, sell-side research, private equity, etc.
All analysts are encouraged to search across the globe for attractive investment opportunities and present them to the full team. Analysts are typically sector and geography agnostic, covering everything from software to commodities in both emerging markets and developed markets. We believe it is important for analysts to be able to assess and compare investment ideas across multiple sectors and encourage creativity in the idea generation process. GQG is a dynamic workplace where analysts have an opportunity to participate in responsibilities beyond securities selection, including but not limited to mock stock portfolios, client presentations, and other business functions.
New analysts join our two year Analyst Development Program. For those that demonstrate the capability and potential to further develop into seasoned analysts, there is significant upside opportunity both in responsibility and compensation.
