This position also handles most tasks for IT onboarding of new employees, with laptop deployments, equipment ordering, and technical training. Days vary based on the tickets received and new hires expected. Technical analysts also work on IT projects with colleagues within and beyond the IT department.This role will spend the most time addressing help desk tickets for hardware and software issues, assisting users with patience, preparing new hires and facilitating a positive onboarding process by preparing their laptops, ordering their equipment, and providing basic technical training. and supporting technical projects such as infrastructure improvements and software changes. This role will also involve directly supporting our lab environments and instruments QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in information technology, related field, or related experience in lieu of education. SCHEDULE This role will be to fulfill support onsite from a schedule time of 5am to 1:30pm to support our lab's morning shift.
