IT FIELD TECHNICIAN Job Details Full Time / Part Time: Full Time FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Business Unit: IT Reports to: Field IT Manager Travel Requirement: Yes Job Description Select Water Solutions IT Field Technician provides first-level troubleshooting and basic technical support to end-users. Assisting with computers, mobile devices, printers, network related equipment, and camera installs and set up. This position will preferably be fluent in the Spanish language. The essential job functions include, but are not limited to Responsible for covering IT responsibilities for the Permian region (Mainly Southern New Mexico, but also West Texas when needed) . Assist users with all hardware and software issues. Maintains IT Network closets and storage rooms. Install and also unninstall equipment, on site and in field. When a solution isnt readily available, will need to escalate or group source a solution. Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle in accordance with Select’s policies. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required: Requires an associate's degree or relevant “On the job” experience. 2 to 4 years of related work experience is preferred. Scissor and Boom lift certification preffered (this can be learned on the job). Customer service: able to interact with users in a professional manner. Ability to find solutions to technical issues. Ability to identify and search for resolutions. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
