About this Role Jr. Cost Specialist In Office M-F, core hours 8AM - 5 PM 15011 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77094 We’re looking for a motivated Junior Cost Specialist to assist with project financials across multiple EPC projects. This is an entry level role, and we’ll provide full training for the right person eager to build a career in project controls. What You'll Do Enter and reconcile material receipts in JDE, uploading BOLs and supporting documents. Coordinate with Expediting and Project Teams to ensure accurate receiving documentation. File receipts in Procore and match POs or budget codes to AP invoices. Verify billings, retention, taxes, and lien waivers for AP accuracy and compliance. Post costs, quantities, and forecasts in EcoSys; update ETC/EAC as required. Prepare and review Executive Cost Reports with PMs and Project Controls leadership. Submit monthly cost and billing forecasts on schedule. Maintain compliance with company policies, standards, and reporting deadlines. What You'll Bring Experience: 0-1+ years in cost control, project accounting, or financial analysis is a plus. Experience with JDE, EcoSys, or Procore is highly desirable. Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
