Job Summary: The Junior Financial Analyst, Real Estate Funds is responsible for supporting the financial and investment analysis functions of the company by maintaining financial models, preparing reports, and conducting detailed research. This role plays a key part in supporting acquisition underwriting, investment tracking, investor reporting, and decision-making by providing accurate, timely, and insightful financial data and analysis. Junior Financial Analyst, Real Estate Funds Compensation: Annual Salary $60,000-$70,000 Potential Bonus Opportunities 401(k) Plan Medical benefit stipend of $525 per month Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life, Hospital & Critical Illness Insurance benefits available Pet Insurance Holiday Pay Paid Time Off (PTO) Work/Home Life Balance Opportunities for Career Advancement Junior Financial Analyst, Real Estate Funds Responsibilities: Reporting and Analysis Prepare recurring monthly property and portfolio reports using established templates. Compare actual results to budget and forecast, calculate variances, and draft initial explanations for review. Update KPI trackers and dashboards (NOI, occupancy, collections, expense ratios). Support ad-hoc analysis requests from senior team members. Budgeting and Forecasting Assist with the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts by gathering inputs, updating existing models, and checking assumptions. Roll forward and maintain existing Excel models under the guidance of senior analysts. Data Accuracy Pull and organize property-level GL data and tie reports back to source data. Flag unusual items, such as miscoded expenses, duplicates, or missing accruals, and raise them with accounting. Keep files organized, labeled, and documented so work can be reviewed and repeated. Collaboration and Process Follow up with property management and operations staff to get context behind variances. Document reporting steps and suggest ways to make recurring tasks faster or more consistent. Other Perform other duties as assigned by management. Junior Financial Analyst, Real Estate Funds Required Qualifications MUST reside in or attending school in Las Vegas at time of application Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, real estate, or business administration (or graduating within six months). 0-2 years of relevant experience. Internships, co-ops, or coursework in accounting or finance count. Solid Excel skills: formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and formatting clean, readable reports. Basic understanding of financial statements and budget-to-actual analysis. Clear written communication and a willingness to ask questions. Strong attention to detail and the habit of checking your own work. Junior Financial Analyst, Real Estate Funds Required Qualifications Internship or coursework in real estate, private equity, or asset management. Exposure to a property management or accounting system (Rent Manager, Yardi, AppFolio, QuickBooks, or similar). Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or Python. Progress toward CPA or CFA.
