SUMMARY Serves as a departmental resource and provides assistance to EMT faculty and students.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assists EMT faculty in instructing lab skills for courses in Emergency Medical Technology to meet minimum instructor student ratio required by EMT program accreditationResponsible for set up and operation of the training labAssists faculty with student based EMT projectsInterface with the industry advisory boardAssists the faculty in evaluation of student techniques for gradeCollaborates with students and faculty to deliver coursesAssists with the maintenance and cleanliness of EMT labsExhibits patience and positive attitudes in establishing an encouraging learning environmentPerforms other duties as assigned
