Track Definitions * Finance & Accounting * In this track, you’ll learn about the financial side of our business – from recording and summarizing financial transactions to know where the money is coming from/going to, as well as preparing reports to show the business’s financial performance and position – weekly, monthly, and quarterly * Revenue Cycle & Payor Relations * In this track, you’ll learn about the end-to-end process of payor relations which begins with setting up new providers with the health insurance (payor) contracts to seeing the flow of how these contracts work from the time the patient makes an appointment to the point when the bill is paid in full * General Management & Implementations * In this track, you’ll learn about the day-to-day management of our clinics – from patient care, to staffing, supplies, and services, as well as what it takes to integrate a new practice into the company and incorporating the operations, systems, and culture in a way that maintains or improves care quality and efficiency Track Definitions - More detail if needed Accounting: * Accounting is the process of recording and summarizing all financial transactions that a business makes. This is important to know exactly where the money is coming from and where it’s going. Finance: * This function involves preparing reports that show a business’s financial performance and position, like income statements (profits and losses), balance sheets (assets and liabilities), and cash flow statements. Revenue Cycle: * The revenue cycle refers to the complete process that healthcare organizations follow to receive payment for the services they provide to patients. It includes everything from the moment a patient makes an appointment to the point when the bill is paid in full. Managed Care: * Managed Care is the process to set up a provider (physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant) with the health insurance contracts and rates to ensure they are able to provide quality care to as many patients as possible.  Operations: * Operations refers to the day-to-day management and functioning of a healthcare facility. This includes everything from patient care to managing staff, supplies, and services. Implementations: * Implementations refers to the process that healthcare organizations follow when they acquire other healthcare businesses. It involves integrating the new business into the acquiring organization's operations, systems, and culture in a way that maintains or improves care quality and efficiency.
