DO YOU MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS? Attention to detail with exceptional prioritization and organizational skills 2-3 years of experience in compliance, banking, mortgage, consumer financial services, commercial financial services, administrative quality control, or a related field Professional verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, and point-of-sale systems Ability to interact effectively over the telephone and through email Strong interpersonal, active listening, critical-thinking, and analytical skills Bilingual Spanish/English skills are preferred but not required (pay differential for bilingual positions) WHAT WILL YOU DO AS AN LENDING COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST? As the Lending Compliance Specialist, you'll play an essential role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our lending process from start to finish. Your day may begin by reviewing pre-approval documentation and preparing complete packages for Underwriting, followed by verifying loan closing documents to ensure every detail is accurate and compliant. You'll build loans, conduct verbal closings, and upload finalized documentation while helping identify and correct any deficiencies with the Sales team. Throughout the month, you'll perform audits on active files and calls at various stages of the lending process, helping maintain the high standards our company is known for. You'll also communicate with agencies by phone, email, and mail to gather important information, maintain accurate customer records, assist with title disposition activities, and work diligently to ensure all operations remain compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and company requirements.
