Coordinate tests, procedures, appointments, referrals, and consults with other facilities and departments.
Contact and triage patients as requested to share test results, follow-up instructions, treatment changes, appointment details, and referral information.
Place prescription orders and complete prior authorizations for medications, tests, and procedures based on provider documentation.
Keep each patient’s care connected and organized
Maintain complete, accurate, and timely patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, progress notes, medication reconciliation, and care activities.
Enter and track information in the EMR, including laboratory tests, pharmacy items, drug samples, family and social history, and full sets of vital signs.
