Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Residential Services

Dynamic Opportunity~ As a full-time employee, working 40 hour per week, a Residence Licensed Practical Nurse LPN assists in all aspects of service delivery in accordance with NJAC 10:37A for resident. The Guidance Center~ is a primary mental health support agency, providing compassionate, professional care for individuals and families with mental health needs in the greater Cumberland County, NJ area. For more than 50 years, our non-profit organization of professionals, doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff, has assisted the community in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of mental illness. What does this position look like~ The Residence LPN coordinate with Team Leader for ongoing appointment scheduling and medical service coordination for assigned residents. Completes all documentation in a timely manner. Supervises self-administration of medication. Provide skills training related to management of medical needs. Provide group and individual in home educational series targeted towards needs of individuals in residence program. Provides education to residence staff regarding client medical needs and scheduled appointment/procedure. What you need to apply~ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required, two years' experience with target population Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work a 40-hour work week.
