Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Schedule: PRN 12 Hour Shift Why Nurses Like Working Here Behavioral health nursing is busy, engaging, and very human. You’ll work from a central nurse station where clients come to you, giving you a steady home base even on fast-paced days. New to behavioral health? That’s okay! What You’ll Do Complete nursing intake assessments and support detox treatment plans Conduct daily nurse visits and monitor client health status Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments Process labs and communicate results Maintain accurate, compliant documentation (HIPAA & regulatory standards) Respond to medical concerns with confidence and compassion Support clients through detox and stabilization Collaborate with providers, RNs, LPNs, and the clinical team Communicate with families when appropriate Coordinate hospital transfers and nurse-to-nurse communication Maintain medical supply inventory Participate in trainings and staff meetings Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing What You’ll Bring Active LPN license in the State of Texas CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to stay calm and organized in fast-paced situations Strong documentation skills and attention to detail Compassion, professionalism, and a team mindset SUD/MH experience is a plus — not required Benefits & Perks Free lunch every day Free CEUs Quarterly KPI bonuses PTO, Sick Time & Holiday Pay Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Company-paid Life Insurance HSA options Retirement Plan Supportive, approachable leadership Interested?
