What you'll do
- Create intra-company purchase and sales orders
- Process international order transactions and invoices
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments
- Manage freight invoices, rates, and carrier relationships
- Work with customs brokers and prepare U.S. export documentation
- Maintain import compliance procedures and international inventory through cycle counts
- Generate ERP reports and process intercompany invoices
- Review freight and customs charges, assign general ledger accounts, and assist with ERP updates
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Math, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong communication, organizational, decision-making, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
- Specialization in Production Control or Supply Chain Management (preferred)
- ERP experience (preferred)
- Crystal Reports and demand planning software experience (preferred)

Spang Power Electronics, a division of Spang & Company, has an excellent career opportunity for a Logistics & Inventory Specialist based in Sandy Lake, PA . This position will be responsible for creation and management of customer and intra-company shop order schedules, customer order shipment scheduling including export/import duties, and related accounting activities.

Primary responsibilities include creating intra-company purchase and sales orders, processing international order transactions and invoices, coordinating domestic and international shipments, and managing freight invoices, rates, and carrier relationships. Additional responsibilities include working with customs brokers, preparing U.S. export documentation, and maintaining import compliance procedures. The role also involves generating ERP reports, maintaining international inventory through cycle counts, processing intercompany invoices, reviewing freight and customs charges, assigning general ledger accounts, and assisting with ERP updates and procedures.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Business, Math, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A specialization in Production Control or Supply Chain Management is preferred. Candidates should have strong communication, organizational, decision-making, and multitasking skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. ERP experience is helpful, while Crystal Reports and demand planning software experience are preferred.
