This role supports production by following standard instructions and conducting initial quality checks. The Machine Operator, Level I, is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining low-complexity machinery. They are responsible for ensuring the machine produces high-quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity, and is properly maintained. What You’ll Do  As a Machine Operator I you’ll be responsible for:  * Operating low-complexity machinery following standard instructions, ensuring proper setup to produce product according to quality standards. * Conduct initial quality checks under close supervision, inspecting finished products for dimensional accuracy, integrity and compliance with aerospace specifications. * Report any issues or deviations to leads or supervisors, such as machine malfunctions, material defects, or non-conforming parts, providing clear observations for resolution. * Assist in loading and unloading raw materials into machines, verifying quantities and types against documentation under close oversight. * Clean and maintain equipment and report any issues that arise to a lead or supervisor. * Utilize basic computers skills to enter data into production systems and access work orders as guided by supervisors. * Maintain an organized work area by keeping aisles clear, properly storing materials, and adhering to safety and organizational standards. Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training sessions. * Follow safety protocols by wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training to prevent workplace hazards. What You Bring * High school diploma or equivalent  * No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided. Previous experience in machine operations is preferred * Eager to learn and follow instructions with strong attention to detail * Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a structured environment * Basic verbal skills to report issues and follow directives  * Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and assembly procedures under supervision   Special Requirements:  * U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.  * ITAR Requirement  * 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.  This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants will be asked to provide specific documentation to verify U.S. person status under the ITAR and the EAR.
