What you'll do
- Diagnose and repair manual and CNC machine tools, including milling, turning, and grinding equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical drive systems, ball screws, bearings, and linear guides
- Perform work on controls, drives, and input/output (I/O) systems independently
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical documentation and schematics
- Identify root causes of machine issues and implement effective corrective actions
- Support machine leveling, alignment, and calibration
What you need
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical faults on CNC machine tools
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical documentation
- Ability to independently troubleshoot drive systems, controls, and I/O
- Familiarity with Fanuc-controlled equipment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience with machine leveling, alignment, and calibration (preferred)
- Background in repair and maintenance of precision CNC equipment (preferred)

Overview:
Advance has immediate openings for skilled Machine Repair Technicians to diagnose and repair manual and CNC milling, turning, and grinding machine tools. We are seeking experienced technicians who can troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems and perform repairs with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair manual and CNC machine tools, including milling, turning, and grinding equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical drive systems, ball screws, bearings, and linear guides
• Perform work on controls, drives, and input/output (I/O) systems independently
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical documentation and schematics
