Description

The Mail Specialist I processes mail for a centralized accounting processing center. This is an accounting support position in a fast-paced centralized accounting services environment providing financial services to community associations throughout North America.   Job Duties and Responsibilities:   * Receive and open incoming mail * Sort incoming mail by specified criteria * Distribute incoming mail by utilizing central department mailbox system * Receive and process outgoing mail utilizing mail equipment * Maintain mailing equipment * Maintain inventory of mailing products * Meet deadlines established by senior staff on the processing of incoming and outgoing mail * Provide specific returned mail to designated departments for further research * Occasional overtime may be required * Occasional work on the weekend may be required * Other duties as assigned Qualifications Knowledge and Skills:   * Strong organizational skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * High attention to detail * Experience in customer service * Computer and internet proficient Education: * High school diploma or GED * 0-2-year experience working in a mail department and/or fast paced mail processing department or center
