What you'll do
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery and facility equipment
- Identify and resolve equipment failures to minimize production downtime
- Troubleshoot electrical controls, motors, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment
- Maintain and repair production equipment, including injection molding and assembly machinery
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues
- Follow all OSHA requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety standards
What you need
- Journeyman certification OR equivalent industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience maintaining and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and electrical systems
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to equipment breakdowns
- Willingness and ability to work 3rd shift
- Experience with injection molding equipment (preferred)

About the Position
Evenflo / Goodbaby International is seeking an experienced 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations in Piqua, Ohio. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, with journeyman-level training or equivalent hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery and facility equipment.
Identify and resolve equipment failures to minimize production downtime.
Troubleshoot electrical controls, motors, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment.
Maintain and repair production equipment, including injection molding and assembly machinery.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues.
Collaborate with production supervisors to maintain operational efficiency.
Follow all OSHA requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability.
Required Qualifications
Journeyman certification OR equivalent industrial maintenance experience required.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience maintaining and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.
Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and electrical systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Ability to work independently and respond quickly to equipment breakdowns.
Willingness and ability to work 3rd shift.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with injection molding equipment.
PLC troubleshooting experience.
Previous maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Technical degree, trade school training, or industrial maintenance apprenticeship.
