Maintenance Mechanic Technician - 3rd shift (10PM to 6AM)

The Maintenance technician will report of our Maintenance Manager. You can expect to perform daily mechanical repairs; preventative maintenance inspections of production and facility equipment; address immediate needs situations as they arise. Objective is to support and maintain smooth production operations and the safety for all personnel.rnThe work schedule is 5 days/week including weekend work. Sat/Sun is part of the schedule.rnDuties/Responsibilities:rnrnProperly troubleshoot and repair all equipment associated in the production, cooling, freezing and packaging, including, but not limited to mixers, dividers, retarders, coolers, freezers, conveyors, metal detectors, box erectors and bagging systems, etc. in a timely manner with minimal supervision.rnPerform preventative maintenance on all equipment according to assignment and schedule.rnPerform general maintenance duties as it relates to plant equipment and building.rnProperly perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding and plumbing duties as required.rnRebuild/replace equipment as needed, including but not limited to pumps, gear boxes, bearings, bushings, chains, conveyors, etc.rnAbility to work overtime, including weekends, holidays and emergencies, as needed.rnrnRequirements:rnrnrnAble to use basic hand tools and power tools.rnAble to read blue prints and do layout work/sketches.rnBasic knowledge of gas, gas tungsten (TIG), gas metal (MIG) and arc welding. Also able to use plasma cutter.rnTimely analysis and repair of all breakdowns in plants using basic troubleshooting skills.rnFabrication experience a must.rnAble to troubleshoot and wire a 3-phase motor. Repair 110-volt and 24-volt control wiring.rnKnowledge of PLC a plus.rnGood understanding of refrigeration rnEnglish skills must be proficient to understand, read, write and speak English. Spanish a plus.rnFood production maintenance mechanic experience required. This is a tremendous opportunity.
