Where you can THRIVE!rnrnThe Environmental Services Technician assists the Environmental Services Manager with the overall physical plant, environment, maintenance and cleanliness of the internal community building and external community grounds. Our communities function similar to a beautiful hotel or private club and this position ensures immaculate surroundings and exceptional customer service. The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for providing exceptional customer service,utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all of the following responsibilities:rnResponsibilities:rnrn Assist the housekeeping teamrnAssist with grounds and building maintenance projectsrnAssist with furniture movement for community event set-up and tear-downrn Assist to ensure all preventive and corrective maintenance work orders are completed on a timelyand thorough basis, including, but not limited to, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning(HVAC), plumbing, electrical repairs, furniture and/or equipment repairs, picking up trash,keeping common areas neat, sweeping walks and curbs, watering lawn, trees, shrubs, andflowerbeds, shoveling walks, sanding and salting icy areasrnPerform other related work activities as neededrnrnQualifications:rnrn High School diploma or equivalentrnMinimum of 2 years of experience in building maintenance field, preferably in the hospitality industry or a senior living community.rnExperience in carpet cleaning, floor care and painting projects strongly preferredrnAble to lift 50 poundsrnAble to walk, climb stairs, bend and squatrnAble to withstand external weather conditionsrnrnThe Waters is an equal opportunity employer proudly committed to a diverse workforce.
