Maintenance Technician (Hotel)

My Place Hotel-Location is looking for a reliable and motivated Maintenance team member to help ensure our hotel remains safe, functional, and guest-ready at all times. This role offers an opportunity to apply your technical skills in a hands-on environment where your work directly supports guest satisfaction and team success. In this role, you will maintain hotel systems, complete repairs, and perform routine preventive maintenance.nPrimary Duties and ResponsibilitiesnDaily Work Orders: Review and complete assigned maintenance requests promptly. Respond efficiently to repair needs to limit inconvenience to guests and staff.nPreventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on both interior and exterior areas of the hotel, including regular inspections and servicing of equipment and facilities.nDocumentation & Reporting: Keep thorough and accurate records of completed repairs, preventative maintenance tasks, and ongoing issues to support smooth hotel operations.nMechanical Systems Upkeep: Maintain all mechanical rooms and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical components, and general building infrastructure, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and safety.nService Excellence: Support the hotel\'s service standards by completing maintenance work with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to quality.nRequired Skills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesnComputer Proficiency: Basic experience with Microsoft Office and standard computer programs used for tracking maintenance activities.nCommunication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with guests, coworkers, and external vendors.nTime Management & Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.nReliability & Professionalism: Consistent dependability, a strong work ethic, and a professional approach to assigned responsibilities.nDetail-Oriented: Attention to detail to ensure repairs and maintenance meet company and safety standards.nTechnical & Troubleshooting Skills: Practical problem-solving abilities with experience in areas such as electrical systems, plumbing, and general repairs.nTool Experience: Working knowledge of common hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.nPhysical RequirementsnnAbility to reach 60" in heightnMove around the building, including walking up and down stairs. nPush/pull vacuums, shovels, cribs and rollaways up to 50lbs.nLift up to 30 lbs. of supplies and linens. nnBenefits & PerksnnCompetitive Pay: Insert Pay Range $X - $XnMonthly Bonus OpportunitiesnFlexible Scheduling: Insert Shift TimesnBi-weekly Direct DepositnCross-Training OpportunitiesnCareer Growth PotentialnnWhy Work With My Place Hotels?nAt My Place Hotels, we believe our success starts with our people.
