What you'll do
- Complete scheduled maintenance and repairs at members’ homes, and communicate updates and instructions to members, subcontractors and the support team.
- Document completed work and necessary follow-up after each visit.
What you need
- Requires a handyman or maintenance professional background, residential home building and/or maintenance experience, and knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and painting.
- The role also calls for independent troubleshooting, clear communication and comfort with technology and mobile apps.

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll visit our members' homes', complete preventative maintenance and handyman tasks and work within a local market team. With our Technicians’ diligence and attention to detail, homeowners can rest assured that their home is well cared for and consistently maintained to the highest standard. If you're handy, a clear communicator, and naturally organized, this is a role where you can stand out quickly. What You’ll Accomplish Ensure timely and quality completion of scheduled maintenance and repairs for our members’ homes Interact with members, subcontractors and our support team to provide updates and instructions regarding maintenance needs Provide clearly documented reports after each visit to summarize the work completed and any necessary follow-up Grow and develop your skills with professional development and opportunities to advance within our company into leadership roles What Matters Most Handyman or maintenance professional Background in residential home building and/or maintenance Knowledgeable about basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and painting Problem solver who can work independently to troubleshoot household issues A good communicator who can clearly relay both verbal and written information Comfortable with technology and mobile apps Benefits and Compensation Up to $31/hour (commensurate with experience) No on-call work -- stable schedule of 40 hrs/week Company Vehicle Health/vision/dental insurance PTO This position is based in the Montgomery County, Maryland region.
