- Able to climb stairs and ladders and work in tight or confined spaces
- Able to stand for long periods, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Hands-on experience in general, building or facilities maintenance
- Working knowledge of mechanics
- Carpentry and plumbing experience (preferred)

Cinema Cafe is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for our dine-in movie theater in Chester, VA, serving the Chesterfield County and Richmond area. You’ll keep the building, equipment and auditoriums running smoothly. That includes maintaining power recliner seats, handling work orders and preventive maintenance, and taking on carpentry, plumbing, and painting projects around the theater. This is a hands-on, independent role for someone who likes variety. One day you might be fixing a recliner motor and the next retiling a restroom. You’ll work closely with theater managers and crew to put guests first and keep the auditoriums ready for showtime. What You’ll Do: Complete service requests and repairs quickly and effectively, from general building maintenance to recliner seat repair. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on the building and equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, plumbing and facility issues. Handle carpentry, drywall and painting repairs and projects. Pick up supplies and materials from local vendors as needed. Keep work orders organized and communicate status to management. Assist with basic electrical and kitchen equipment upkeep. What We’re Looking For: Hands-on experience in general, building or facilities maintenance. Working knowledge of mechanics; carpentry and plumbing experience a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple repairs. Clear communication and a friendly, professional repl with staff and managers. Basic computer skills for work orders and email. Requirements: High school diploma or 2 years of maintenance/construction experience. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
