Management Trainee

The Store Manager-in-Training (MIT) will be immersed in learning all aspects of managing a National Coatings and Supplies/Single Source Inc. Store as well as the sales functions of the organization. Training will take place through on-the-job experiences while learning under the guidance of their Store Manager, District Operations Manager, District Sales Manager, and other partners. You will support the store by building loyalty and long-lasting relationships with our customers. Duties & Responsibilities Assist with hiring, orienting, training, supervising, evaluating, motivating, communicating with, leading and disciplining all employees in store Ensure planning, direction, and scheduling of employee work in order to optimize labor utilization and align with workflow and profitability Maintain inventory control and direct the taking of inventory in order to optimize cash flow for the organization Enforce and follow all rules, policies and procedures in order to ensure compliance with State and Federal Laws, DOT and OSHA Regulations Monitor customer pricing for strict control of gross-profit margins Perform administrative duties as necessary Maintain relationships with key customers including site visits Engage with functional Corporate departments Other duties as assigned Qualifications & Education Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, sales or related field required Familiar with and competent knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Office, Excel, Word) Team player with exceptional customer service skills Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Must maintain a clean driving record Strong work ethic Strong organizational, time management, and problem solving skills Excellent attention to detail and follow-through What’s in it for You?
