Job Summary We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Safety Assistant to support daily safety operations and compliance activities at our office and job sites. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or candidates interested in developing a career in occupational health and safety. No prior safety experience is required, as on-the-job training will be provided. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.  Expected start date: November 9, 2026/ November 16, 2026/ November 23, 2026/ November 30, 2026 Responsibilities * Support the Safety Coordinator and Safety Officer with daily safety operations. * Assist with routine safety checks and inspections. * Maintain safety documents, inspection records, and training records. * Coordinate safety-related testing, medical examinations, and compliance screenings (e.g., drug testing) and maintain related records. * Assist with applications and documentation for job-site access badges (e.g., red/white cards). * Help organize personal protective equipment (PPE), safety supplies, and safety signage on-site. * Translate safety documents, instructions, and communications between English and Mandarin. * Provide English-Mandarin interpretation during safety meetings, training sessions, and on-site communications as needed. * Report unsafe behaviors or conditions to supervisors. * Participate in safety drills and assist with emergency procedures. * Follow company safety policies and applicable job-site requirements. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or a degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus. * Recent graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. * No prior safety experience required; on-the-job training will be provided. * Fluency in both English and Mandarin, including verbal and written communication, is required. * Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. * Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn and follow safety procedures. * Ability to work in office and job-site environments and comply with applicable safety requirements. * Familiarity with personal protective equipment (PPE) and basic safety concepts is a plus. * Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30, CPR, First Aid) are a plus, but not required. * Reliable, proactive, and able to work collaboratively with the team.
