Manufacturing Specialist

Learn more about our process here: https://www.optimim.com/ We are seeking Manufacturing Specialists to perform tasks relating to the production of small metal parts, including but not limited to molding, sorting, placing inspections. Essential Functions: Operates molding cells. (Molding machines, robots, grinders.) Up to 90% Trims and places small parts on trays. Up to 90% Green part inspections (visuals weights). Up to 100% Regrinds feedstock. 10% Loads and unloads product carts. 10% Experience and Qualifications: Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English. Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. High School diploma or GED preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Mechanical Aptitude preferred. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit demonstrate manual dexterity (100% of the time). Uses stepstools and ladders (10%). Talk, hear and see (100%). Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision, depth perception ability to adjust focus (100%). Microscope inspections (30%). Ability to lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds (90%) - lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds (10%).
